Energy Data Specialist - Virtual Power Plant Systems

Your Role
You will be part of the VPP Optimization & Control Team, working at the core of our Virtual Power Plant platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing energy asset control algorithms and evaluating their performance
Improving, testing, and validating control and optimization algorithms
Developing digital twins of physical energy assets
Investigating and resolving issues during system outages or anomalies
Processing and validating data critical for VPP operation
Close collaboration with backend developers data scientists and DevOps engineers
Your work will be visible, impactful, and directly connected to real energy systems.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Java or Python (minimum 3 years of programming experience)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong mathematical and analytical thinking
Scientific mindset and problem-solving orientation
Work with databased
Ability to work with data and complex systems
Nice to Have
Knowledge of optimization methods (linear, nonlinear, mixed-integer, stochastic)
Experience in the energy domain or Virtual Power Plants
Background in power engineering
Experience with time-series data from physical assets
PhD in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or IT
